I just finished playing Dark Runner and I have to say it's been a wild ride. I went into this game not really knowing what to expect - the trailers looked cool, but I'd never heard of the developer before, so I wasn't sure if it would live up to the hype. Luckily, it mostly did. The game's atmosphere is one of the strongest things it has going for it - the dark, gritty world and creepy sound design had me on edge the whole time I was playing.

One thing that really stood out to me was the gameplay. It's basically a mix of parkour and horror elements, which sounds weird, but trust me, it works. You play as this guy who has to navigate through this dark, abandoned city, avoiding monsters and other dangers along the way. The parkour mechanics are really smooth and responsive, which is good, because you'll be doing a lot of running and jumping to get away from the bad guys. My only real complaint with the gameplay is that it can get a little repetitive - you'll be doing the same things over and over again, and after a while it starts to feel a bit grindy.

The story is also pretty interesting, although it's not super original. You're this guy who's trying to uncover the truth behind some kind of conspiracy, and along the way you encounter all these weird and terrifying creatures. It's your standard horror fare, but it's well-done, and the voice acting is top-notch. The characters all feel really real and well-developed, which makes it easy to get invested in the story. I did have a few issues with the pacing, though - sometimes it feels like the story is moving too slowly, and other times it feels like it's rushing along too quickly.

I also want to talk about the graphics, because they're definitely worth mentioning. The game looks amazing - the environments are all really detailed and atmospheric, and the character models are well-done. The lighting is also superb, which is important in a horror game, because it helps to create that sense of tension and fear. My only real complaint with the graphics is that they can be a bit buggy at times - I encountered a few glitches during my playthrough, which took me out of the game a bit.

Overall, I'd say Dark Runner is a solid game that's definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of horror or parkour games. It's not perfect - the gameplay can get a bit repetitive, and the story has some pacing issues - but the atmosphere and graphics are top-notch, and the gameplay is generally a lot of fun. I'd recommend it to anyone who's looking for a challenging and terrifying experience. Just be aware that it's not for the faint of heart - this game is definitely not suitable for kids or anyone who's easily scared.

I'm going to give Dark Runner a solid 8 out of 10 - it's a great game that's well worth playing, but it's not without its flaws. If you're a fan of horror games, or if you're just looking for something new and interesting to play, I'd definitely recommend checking it out. Just be sure to play it with the lights on - trust me, you'll need it.
