Everwild Survival Review & Gameplay Guide

I just spent the last 20 hours playing Everwild Survival, and I have to say, it's been a wild ride. I mean, I've played my fair share of survival games before, but there's something about this one that just drew me in. Maybe it's the beautiful graphics, or maybe it's the fact that I can ride a giant eagle like it's a taxi service. Either way, I'm hooked. The gameplay is pretty standard for a survival game - you spawn in a random location, scavenge for food and supplies, and try to stay alive. But what sets Everwild apart is the sheer scale of the world. I mean, this thing is huge.

I've been playing for days, and I still haven't explored even a quarter of the map. And it's not just the size of the world that's impressive, it's the level of detail too. From the way the sunlight filters through the trees, to the sound of a river babbling in the distance, every aspect of the game feels meticulously crafted. And then, of course, there are the animals. Oh man, the animals. You can ride them, tame them, and even breed them. It's like the game is saying, "Hey, you know what would be cool? If you could ride a giant bear into battle." And you know what? It is cool. It's really, really cool.

But it's not all sunshine and rainbows. There are some serious issues with the game, too. For one, the combat is pretty clunky. I mean, I've died more times than I can count because my character decided to get stuck in a tree or something. And don't even get me started on the crafting system. It's like they took every crafting system from every other survival game, threw them all in a blender, and hit puree. I mean, I'm all for complexity, but come on. It's like they want me to have to consult a spreadsheet just to make a simple axe.

Despite the flaws, though, I'm still having a blast playing Everwild. There's just something about the sense of exploration and discovery that keeps me coming back for more. And the community is really great, too. I've met some really cool people online, and we've had some epic battles against giant monsters. It's moments like those that make all the frustration worth it. So, if you're a fan of survival games, or just looking for something new to sink your teeth into, I'd definitely recommend giving Everwild a try. Just be prepared for some frustration, and maybe a few rage quits.

One thing that I'm really excited about is the future of the game. The devs seem to be really active, and they're always releasing new updates and patches. They're even talking about adding a multiplayer component, which would be amazing. I mean, can you imagine exploring this huge world with a team of friends? It's a really exciting prospect, and I'm glad I got in on the ground floor. Of course, there are always risks when investing time in a new game, but I think Everwild has a lot of potential.

Overall, I'd say that Everwild Survival is a great game that's still a little rough around the edges. The world is beautiful, the animals are awesome, and the sense of exploration is top-notch. But the combat and crafting systems need some work, and the game can be pretty frustrating at times. Still, I'm having a lot of fun, and I'm excited to see where the game goes from here. If you're a fan of survival games, or just looking for something new to try, I'd definitely recommend giving Everwild a shot. Just don't say I didn't warn you about the crafting system.
