Fruity Craft Merge Review & Gameplay Guide
I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit skeptical when I first downloaded Fruity Craft Merge. I mean, the name alone sounds like something my grandma would play, and I'm more of aCall of Duty kind of guy. But, I was looking for something to kill some time on my commute, and this game was free, so I figured why not. The first few levels were pretty basic, just your standard match-and-merge gameplay, but it was actually kind of fun. The graphics are super colorful and the music is catchy, so it's hard not to get sucked in.
As I played more, I started to realize that there's actually a lot more depth to the game than I initially thought. The levels get progressively harder, and you need to start thinking strategically about how you're gonna clear the board. There are all these different tiles with different point values, and you need to merge them in the right order to get the most points. It's not rocket science or anything, but it's definitely more challenging than it looks. And, of course, there are the obligatory in-app purchases, but I haven't felt like I need to buy anything to progress, which is a definite plus.
One thing that's kinda annoying is the ads. I get it, the game is free, so they need to make money somehow, but it feels like every other level there's a 30-second ad popping up. And, sometimes they're not even skippable, which is super frustrating. I've been playing for a few days now, and I've already seen the same ads like 10 times, so it's getting old. But, I guess it's a small price to pay for a game that's otherwise pretty enjoyable.
I've also been experimenting with the different boosters and power-ups, and they're actually pretty useful. There's this one tile that clears an entire row, and it's a total game-changer. I've been using it to get out of tight spots, and it's saved me from failing a level more times than I can count. The game also has a social aspect, where you can compete with your friends to get the highest score, which is a nice touch. I've been competing with my sister, and it's been pretty fun.
Overall, I'm actually really surprised by how much I'm enjoying Fruity Craft Merge. It's not the most complex game in the world, but it's a great way to pass the time, and it's perfect for playing on the go. I've been playing it on my commute, and it's been making the time fly by. If you're looking for a casual game that's easy to pick up and play, I'd definitely recommend checking it out. Just be prepared for the ads, and you'll be golden.
I think the only reason I wouldn't give Fruity Craft Merge a full 5 stars is that it can get a bit repetitive after a while. The levels all start to feel the same, and you're just doing the same thing over and over again. But, I guess that's just the nature of a match-and-merge game. Despite that, I've been having a lot of fun playing it, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who's looking for a lighthearted, casual game. And, who knows, maybe one day I'll even beat my sister's high score.
