Obby Tower Review & Gameplay Guide
I just spent the last few hours playing Obby Tower and I've got to say, it's been a wild ride. I'd seen a few videos of the game online before I downloaded it, but I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. The gameplay looks pretty simple - you just run and jump through obstacle courses, trying to reach the end without dying. But trust me, it's a lot harder than it looks. I died more times than I can count, but somehow I just couldn't stop playing.
One thing that really stood out to me about Obby Tower is the level design. The obstacle courses are all really well thought out and challenging, but not impossible. There were a few times where I got stuck on a particular level, but after a few tries I was always able to figure out the trick to getting past it. The levels also get progressively harder as you go, which is great because it keeps the game exciting and prevents it from getting too repetitive. I did start to feel a bit of fatigue around level 20 or so, but by that point I was determined to see how far I could get.
The graphics and sound design in Obby Tower are also worth mentioning. The game has a really cool, futuristic aesthetic that I loved. The obstacle courses are all set in this sleek, high-tech world that feels like something out of a sci-fi movie. The sound effects are also really well done - the music is catchy and the sound effects are satisfying. I especially loved the sound that plays when you die, it's this funny, over-the-top "fail" sound that never got old. The one thing that did get a bit annoying was the constant ads. I get that the game is free, but it feels like every time I died, an ad would pop up. It wasn't a huge deal, but it did get a bit frustrating at times.
Despite the ads, I had a really great time playing Obby Tower. It's one of those games that's easy to pick up and play for a few minutes, but also has enough depth to keep you coming back for more. I found myself playing it on my commute, during lunch breaks, and even before bed. It's just a really fun, addictive game that's perfect for playing in short bursts. If you're looking for a new game to play on your phone, I'd definitely recommend checking out Obby Tower. Just be prepared to die a lot - it's not always easy, but it's definitely worth it.
As I played through Obby Tower, I started to notice a few things that could be improved. For one thing, the game could use a bit more variety in terms of level themes and obstacles. After a while, the levels started to feel a bit samey, and I found myself wishing for something new and different. I'd also love to see some kind of multiplayer mode or leaderboards - it would be really cool to be able to compete with friends or other players to see who can get the farthest. These are just minor complaints, though - overall, I'm really happy with the game.
Overall, I'd say that Obby Tower is a great game that's definitely worth checking out. It's fun, challenging, and addictive, with great level design and a cool futuristic aesthetic. While it's not perfect - the ads can be a bit annoying, and the game could use a bit more variety - it's still a really enjoyable experience. If you're a fan of obstacle course games or just looking for something new to play, I'd definitely recommend giving Obby Tower a try. Just be prepared to die a lot - it's all part of the fun!
