Ultra Kick: Goal Crazy Review & Gameplay Guide
I just spent the last few hours playing Ultra Kick: Goal Crazy and I've got to say, it's been a wild ride. I mean, I've played my fair share of soccer games before, but this one's got something that just keeps me coming back for more. The gameplay's fast-paced and crazy, with players flying all over the field and scoring goals left and right. It's like the developers took all the rules of regular soccer and just threw them out the window, and you know what, it works.
The first thing I noticed when I started playing was how over-the-top the game is. The players are all super stylized, with crazy hairdos and outfits that look like they were ripped straight out of a manga. And the moves they can do? Forget about it. I've seen players jump 10 feet in the air and kick the ball with their eyes closed, and it's just insane. But at the same time, it's kind of awesome. I mean, who doesn't want to play a game where you can do a triple backflip and score a goal from halfway down the field?
But as much as I love the crazy gameplay, I've got to say that the controls can be a little wonky at times. I mean, I've been playing for hours and I still can't seem to get the hang of the shooting mechanics. Sometimes I'll kick the ball and it'll soar into the top corner, and other times it'll just trickle out of bounds for no reason. And don't even get me started on the goalkeepers - they're like superheroes or something, able to dive 20 feet to their left and still manage to catch the ball. It's a little frustrating, but at the same time, it's not like it's a deal-breaker or anything.
One thing that's definitely a plus is the multiplayer mode. I mean, playing against other people online is just a whole different level of crazy. Everyone's running around like headless chickens, trying to score goals and tackle each other to the ground. It's chaos, but it's the good kind of chaos. I've had some of my most intense gaming moments in the past few hours, and I'm definitely going to be playing more multiplayer in the future.
As for the graphics and sound, I've got to say that they're pretty top-notch. The fields look amazing, with detailed textures and animations that make it feel like you're really there. And the soundtrack's pretty catchy too, with a mix of rock and electronic music that keeps the energy high throughout the game. My only complaint is that the commentary can get a little repetitive at times - I mean, how many times can the same guy say "what a goal!" before it starts to get on your nerves?
Overall, I'd say that Ultra Kick: Goal Crazy is definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of soccer games or just looking for something a little different. It's not perfect, but it's a hell of a lot of fun, and I can see myself playing it for hours on end. Just don't expect a super realistic soccer sim - this game's all about the crazy, over-the-top action, and it delivers in spades.
