I've gotta say, I was a bit skeptical about trying out Candy Crush Blast, I mean, I've played the original Candy Crush like a million times and I wasn't sure what to expect from this new version. But hey, I'm always down to try something new, so I dove right in. The first thing I noticed was how similar it was to the original, I mean, it's basically the same game, just with some new levels and a slightly different layout. Not that that's a bad thing, I loved the original Candy Crush, it was one of those games that I could just play for hours on end without getting bored.

But anyway, back to Candy Crush Blast, like I said, it's pretty similar to the original, but they've added some new features that definitely give it a bit of a twist. For example, they've got these new "blast" levels where you have to clear a certain number of candies in a certain number of moves, and if you fail, you have to start over. It's actually pretty challenging, and it's definitely added a new layer of difficulty to the game. They've also got some new power-ups and boosters that you can use to help you out, which is always a plus.

Now, I know some people might be thinking, "why do I want to play another Candy Crush game?" And that's a fair question, I mean, if you're not a fan of match-three games, then this probably isn't the game for you. But if you're like me and you love a good puzzle game, then you'll probably really enjoy Candy Crush Blast. The graphics are great, the music is catchy, and the gameplay is addictive as always. I found myself playing for hours on end, trying to beat my high score and unlock new levels.

One thing that did kind of annoy me was the in-app purchases, I mean, I get it, the game is free, so they've got to make money somehow. But it feels like they're really pushing you to buy more lives and boosters, and it can get a bit frustrating when you're in the middle of a level and you run out of lives. But I guess that's just the way it is with free games these days. Overall, I'd say that Candy Crush Blast is a solid addition to the Candy Crush series, it's not revolutionary or anything, but it's a fun way to pass the time and it's definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of puzzle games.

All in all, I'd give Candy Crush Blast 4 out of 5 stars, it's a fun game that's perfect for playing on the go, and it's definitely a great option if you're looking for a new puzzle game to play. The only thing that's holding me back from giving it a full 5 stars is the in-app purchases, I mean, I get it, they've got to make money somehow, but it feels like they're a bit too aggressive with it. But hey, that's just my opinion, if you're not bothered by that sort of thing, then you'll probably love Candy Crush Blast just as much as I do.
