I just spent the last few hours playing Gorilla Monster Fight, and I'm still trying to wrap my head around this game. The concept is pretty straightforward - you play as a giant gorilla, smashing your way through cities and fighting other monsters. Sounds awesome, right? And at first, it is. The game's got a pretty cool arcadey vibe, with bright colors and over-the-top sound effects. The controls are simple, but they work well, and it's satisfying to stomp through buildings and swat planes out of the sky.

But as I played on, I started to notice some problems. The levels get repetitive pretty quickly - you'll be fighting the same few monsters and smashing the same few types of buildings over and over again. The game tries to mix things up by introducing new monsters and environments, but it's not enough to keep things interesting. I found myself feeling like I was just going through the motions, smashing and fighting without any real sense of purpose or challenge. The difficulty curve is also pretty wonky - some fights are way too easy, while others are frustratingly hard.

One thing that really bugged me about Gorilla Monster Fight is the lack of depth to the gameplay. You've got your basic attacks - punching, kicking, and throwing - but that's about it. There's no real strategy or complexity to the combat, and it starts to feel pretty shallow after a while. I also would have liked to see more customization options - as it stands, you're stuck with a pretty generic gorilla, with no way to upgrade or modify it. It's a shame, because I think the game could have been a lot more engaging if it had more features like this.

Despite its flaws, I did have some fun with Gorilla Monster Fight. The game's got a certain mindless charm to it, and it's hard not to enjoy smashing things and causing chaos. The graphics are also pretty decent, with some nice details and animations. And the sound design is top-notch - the roar of the gorilla and the crunch of smashing buildings are really well done. But overall, I think the game's lack of depth and repetitive gameplay hold it back from being something really special.

I think fans of old-school arcade games might get a kick out of Gorilla Monster Fight, but for everyone else, it's probably a rental or a cheap purchase at best. The game's just not substantial enough to warrant a full-price buy, and it's not like it's going to keep you entertained for weeks on end. That being said, if you're in the mood for something mindless and fun, you could do worse than Gorilla Monster Fight. Just don't expect it to be a particularly challenging or engaging experience.

All in all, Gorilla Monster Fight is a bit of a mixed bag. It's got some cool ideas and a fun premise, but it's ultimately let down by its lack of depth and repetitive gameplay. With some more development and attention to detail, this could have been a really great game - but as it stands, it's just an okay time-waster. If you're a fan of monster movies or arcade games, you might want to check it out, but for everyone else, there are probably better options out there.
